HOW TO TIE A PALOMAR KNOT

4 EASY STEPS FOR TYING THE PALOMAR KNOT:

Double about 6 inches of line and pass through the eye of the hook

Tie a simple overhand knot in the doubled line, letting the hook hang loose. Avoid twisting the lines.

Pull the end of the loop down, passing it completely over the hook.

Moisten and pull both ends of the line to draw up the knot. Trim excess.
HOW TO TIE A UNI KNOT
The Uni Knot, also known as the Hangman’s Knot, is very popular with monofilament. It also works well when connecting Superline to leader material. The Uni Knot is great not only for tying a hook, but also for attaching line to a reel. The Uni Knot is popular because of how easy it is to tie and its versatility.

4 EASY STEPS FOR TYING THE UNI KNOT:

Run line through the eye and double back, forming a circle

Tie uni-knot by wrapping tag end around double line six turns and through the loop

Moisten line, then pull main line to tighten knot

Pull main line to slide knot down to the eye of the hook or swivel
HOW TO TIE A SURGEON’S KNOT
The Surgeon’s Knot, also known as the Double Surgeon’s Knot, ranks as one of the best and easiest knots to tie for joining lines of equal or unequal diameters. It is simply two overhand knots with the entire leader pulled through the knot each time. It must be tightened by pulling on all four strands to properly seat the knot.

Place leader line next to the main line

Form an overhand knot by passing the long end of the leader and tag end of mainline through the loop

Form a second over-hand knot by passing the same ends through the loop

Moisten and tighten by pulling all four ends slowly. Trim tags.
